FOOD AND FAITH AT FIVE this Sunday 10th November 5:00 – 7:00pm
Food and Faith at Five is on the second and fourth Sundays of the month so that we only have a maximum of two services on any given Sunday. Please continue to pray that this outreach bears fruit and brings new people into the Kingdom of God.
Food Bank Ministry
Our outreach for families in need in the Tapawera area will be winding up for the year at the end of November.
The generosity of our Parish Family is outstanding and just to reiterate, there is no pressure on any of us to donate to this ministry.
November will be the ministry’s 1st Anniversary and to date we have delivered 8 very large cartons.
We hope to be able to give 2 more cartons this month which will take the annual total to 10.
As these will be the last food boxes of the year, and it’s Christmas arriving soon, if anyone has little treats they would like to donate for the children, then we are happy to Christmas wrap them.
Thank you so much everyone and may God’s Blessings be with you all this Holy season. Liz Massey
Stamps for Missions
Thank you to everyone who donates stamps. They are still required. Previously going to The Leprosy Mission, they are now going to be sent to the Christian Blind Mission. Yvonne White
Nelson Hospital Chaplaincy Fund Raising Stall 12th – 14th November 2024
A reminder – The Chaplaincy team, which is part of the national organisation, ICHC, is running a stall at the Hospital on Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th November between 9.30am and 2.30pm each day on Level 2 outside the café.
Thank you so much for the donations of goods already received – some of these will make excellent Christmas presents so come and begin your Christmas shopping! Eftpos available.
It’s not too late to donate goods: baking, particularly, is welcomed each day of the stall.
Non-perishable goods may be left in the Hospital Chapel on Level 2, or, if pick up is needed, please email miriam.martin@nmdhb.govt.nz.
Our Purpose is to offer spiritual and pastoral care in Nelson Hospital, improving healthcare outcomes by bringing comfort, hope, and meaning to the lives of patients, their whanau and staff.
CWCI Ladies Evening – this Tuesday 12 November 7:30pm - Hope Community Church, 114 Ranzau Rd.
