Here are some items of news that you might be interested in!
Shared Lunch: This coming Sunday is the fifth Sunday of this Month so we are having a pot luck lunch after the 10:30am service. So please bring something along and let's share some food together! Note that there will be a 9am service this Sunday as well.
The Supermarket Trolly. You will see this in the foyer at the Worship Centre. No we didn't steal it so the vicar could go for rides down Edward street! It was donated by Phil Bell from Four Square. This is for you to donate non-perishable food items that can be distributed to needy people. We will stockpile a small amount so we are ready when needs arise. We have contacts at the Doctors Surgery, Community, and the School, who we can work with to identify those in need. You can also approach myself, or the Wardens Jenny & Andrea, if you become aware of anyone struggling. So please bring some donations along Sundays so we can get this out reach operating a.s.a.p.
Web Site: We will have our own web site online very soon. This will become the hub for internal communications within our parish as well as a first contact and communications point to those beyond our parish. With the demise of our weekly Parish Pew Sheet we need to have a source of information so this should serve us well IF we can learn to use it. Watch this space!
Tear Fund Missions Quiz Night Safe the evening of Saturday September 9th! We are planning a Missions Quiz night that should be fun. We hope to include other local Churches and you can invite friends, family, etc too! More details to come.
